The McPherson family's legacy in Texas grape growing and winemaking spans over four decades. McPherson Cellars, a small yet thriving operation, is dedicated to producing sustainably farmed, expertly crafted, small-batch wines exclusively sourced from the Texas High Plains. At the helm is Winemaker Kim McPherson, a trailblazer in the state's viticulture. Renowned as one of Texas' premier grape growers, Kim was the first to introduce Sangiovese to his Sagmor Vineyard. The winery itself is housed in Lubbock's historic 1930s-era Coca Cola bottling plant, a unique conversion that adds character to the heart of downtown Lubbock
